Outdoors
The more risks you allow children to take, the better they learn to take care of themselves
incredible outdoor spaces and facilities
Our Outdoor Learning curriculum seeks to ensure all our children learn in, through and about the outdoors by using our two Forest School areas, outdoor classroom, field, and unique “Crooked Village” – as well as unlimited access to the Bromyard Downs.
Outdoor learning
A UNIQUE LEARNING OPPORTUNITY
at least one afternoon outside every week
Whatever the weather, we are passionate about engaging in a wide variety of educational and pastoral activities. We believe children can be more motivated and engaged by learning in this way. We believe the outdoors provides abundant opportunities to develop essential “soft” skills such as resilience, confidence, resourcefulness, problem-solving, independence and teamwork, and can have a positive impact on children’s physical and mental well-being.
